Meet Philip

I was too young to really remember life before my Magic Moment, but from what my parents have told me, I was in a pretty serious situation. I could have lost the ability to swallow or breathe if my tumor did not stop growing. I didn’t know the details, but I knew something was wrong from all the medical procedures I had to go through and all the side effects from the new medicine I was taking.

In fourth grade Magic Moments gave me an experience to forget about all the medical pain and to just be a family together. And since then, I have been involved in several Beyond the Moment events and have gone a step further and volunteered at the 2023 Family Camp.

Magic Moments is not a one-time event, it's a family and we’re truly grateful to be a part of it. I'm a senior now and am about to graduate and look back fondly on my Magic Moment experience.
